Home to shape sorting fun.
This award-winning birdhouse shape sorter features 6 colorful wooden shapes, lift-up roof panels and a handy carry handle. As children match and post each shape through the correct opening, they'll develop shape recognition, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills through engaging, hands-on play.
My two-year-old figured out the lift-up roof panels right away and now she hides the shapes inside just to dig them back out. The six wooden pieces are chunky enough for little hands, and the paint hasn't chipped at all after a month of daily play.
The carry handle has been a lifesaver on car rides and doctor visits, my daughter just totes it around and posts the shapes in. The wooden pieces feel solid and the roof panels open smoothly, no sticking after a few weeks of daily play.
My two-year-old figured out the lift-up roof panels on her own and now she keeps the shapes hidden inside like a little treasure chest. The carry handle means it comes to grandma's house every week, and after three months the paint hasn't chipped once.
